Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits .. .Psalm 103:1

Count your blessings and name them one by one ..

Indeed the name of the Lord be praised! Though my dear mother is no longer around but the blessings of the Lord never end and His presence is my constant comfort and companion.

Blessing No. 1 I received a free lap-top from Star hub from my two years contract with them.
Blessing No. 2 I also received a free new and updated hand phone.
Blessing No. 3 Finally I am eligible to have a senior citizen link card for cheaper MRT and bus fare.
The greatest blessing No. 4 is the free ticket to Holland. I spent my one month holidays and Chinese New Year with my new found Dutch family in Tholen, Holland

(With Jos and Mary, and daughter Saromani)

I went to Pakistan in 1981 with Operation Mobilization (OM). Mary Matthews was one of the Bible study girls and also a leader in the youth group. Jos was also with OM at that time and met Mary. Now they have a beautiful daughter Saromani. She is 9 years old.

Here I like to share some pictures with you all and present to you the Dekeyzer families, and how the Lord blessed my time with them in Holland.

(Celebrating Chinese New Year dinner with the extended Dekeyzer family)
(Chinese New Year dinner) I did all the cooking 10 course!
(With the youth group Rick, Reene, and Emma. Emma will be joining OM in South Africa in 2009)
(With Saromani we prayed together for a bed for her birthday, and the Lord answered her desire)
(Along Tholen road where Jos and Mary live)
(Pa and Ma Dekeyzer. I was presenting to them the Chinese custom of a red packet as respect and appreciation to them)
(Pa Dekeyzer and Jos are both elders of the church. They prayed for me as a sent off blessing)
(With Ingrid, she is a midwife, and Jos younger sister Annejoke, she is leads in the worship).

My Holland trip was a fruitful time and wonderful fellowship with the Dekeyzer families, and with their church members. My host and long-time friend and sister Mary, and her husband Jos, and daughter Saromani, have had contributed much to my stay. They made me felt so at home and at ease with them like I am a VIP. That one month stay with them was better than in a 5 stars hotel! I thank God for them and also for each of their extended families members. Praise the Lord.

It was also a peaceful time for me to relax in my emotion and to recuperate my heath. During this trip, the Lord affirmed me in my silent ministry and assured me of His presence with me, and His faithful provision as His promises in Isaiah 46:3-5 even in my old age, even in my grey hairs, He carries me, and sustain me. Praise the Lord.

I renewed my covenant with the Lord, and rededicated myself to go full swing in my silent ministry . The Lord also strengthens my faith trusting Him fully to be independent in Him. He proved Himself faithful in so many ways when I was in Holland, and even when I returned home. I can say that now I am employed in my fulltime silent ministry and receiving an endless monthly salary from the biggest Boss in the whole world!! Praise the Lord.

It is hard to explain but I remember what my late godmother said to me Nancy, if you want to adventure with God, He will adventure with you. Indeed God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think! That is – if you allow Him. Praise God.

Always yours in His vineyard,

Nancy Lim
